Asian workers for renewables and energy
We recruit installation crews from Asia for renewable energy companies, PV contractors and energy subcontractors across North Macedonia – from mounting structures and module installation through cabling to service and maintenance of operating farms. The crew is built around your real scope of works, not a generic job title. We run pre-selection, full legalisation, flights, accommodation and onboarding under a foreman.
- Crews of 8–30 people with a foreman or coordinator
- PV installers, structure fitters, electricians, service staff

The energy transition runs on people
Solar and wind projects enter construction faster than the market can supply installers. Foreign recruitment lets you build your own crew that stays on the project until handover.

What renewable energy companies come to us with
Seasonal peaks on solar farms
Solar farm schedules are fixed while demand for installers swings week to week. Your own crew closes deadlines without relying on the spot market.
Crews rotating between projects
Installers leave mid-build for a better paid contract. Direct employment keeps the crew together until the project is finished.
Labour cost in tendered projects
Renewables margins are calculated to the last zloty. Foreign recruitment gives a predictable labour cost for the whole build period.
Work at height and safety
Roofs, mounting structures and towers require medicals and training. We run full documentation, height medicals and H&S training with translation.
Who we recruit from Asia for renewables and energy
We most often fill module and structure installation plus support and service roles. For tasks requiring electrical qualifications we run a separate selection track and courses after arrival in North Macedonia.
Solar PV installer
Mounting modules, optimisers and DC cabling on ground-mounted farms, warehouse roofs and commercial buildings.
Mounting-structure fitter
Pile driving and bolting of mounting tables, aligning profiles, levelling rows and preparing the field for modules.
Electrician
Cabling, switchgear, cable routes and inverter connections – after obtaining Macedonian SEP qualifications.
Wind farm site worker
Preparation, assembly support and site works around foundations, access roads and assembly pads.
Equipment operator
Loaders, telehandlers, MEWPs and pile drivers – after accredited inspection body courses and exams arranged in North Macedonia.
Service and maintenance
Inspections, module cleaning, component replacement, mowing and upkeep of the farm area.
Three cooperation models for renewable projects
The model depends on how much HR responsibility you want to keep in-house. They can be combined – a core crew employed directly and the installation season covered by fixed-term staffing.
Permanent recruitment
The worker is employed directly by you. We handle selection, legalisation, the flight and the first weeks of adaptation.
One-off recruitmentfixed-term staffing
Employment sits with us and you settle for hours worked – a model for the installation season and schedule peaks.
Fixed-term staffingManaged crew staffing
We take over a defined scope of installation works together with a foreman, rota and responsibility for the result.
Managed staffingPre-selection against the scope of works, not a job title
Candidates go through pre-selection: document checks and a technical interview about scope of works and past projects. Practical and language tests are an optional paid add-on we run when you ask for them.
Our recruitment filter
- Documented experience in PV mounting, structures or electrical installations
- Video interview about scope of works, tools and installation pace
- Photos or descriptions of previous projects
- Readiness to work at height and in changing weather
- Physical fitness and mobility between projects
- Verification of ID documents, certificates and overseas work history
What we agree on your side
- Type of installation: ground-mounted farm, warehouse roof, commercial site, wind
- Stages of works and split of scopes within the crew
- Schedule and required installation pace per row or section
- Shift system, overtime and Saturday work
- Equipment, tools and PPE – on whose side
- Accommodation standard, transport and distance to the project
Courses and licences after arrival in North Macedonia
Foreign electrical and equipment licences do not transfer one to one into Macedonian regulations. That is why the training plan is part of the project schedule, not an afterthought.
SEP qualifications up to 1 kV
Foreign electrical qualifications are not automatically recognised in North Macedonia. Candidates with electrical experience are enrolled in a SEP course and exam after arrival.
Work at height and MEWPs
Height medicals and training for roof work, platforms and structures are arranged in North Macedonia before the crew enters the site.
accredited inspection body licences
accredited inspection body courses and exams for mobile platforms, telehandlers and mobile cranes – wherever the scope of duties requires them.
Medicals and H&S training
Initial medicals, general and job-specific training with translation, plus a briefing on the rules of the specific farm or facility.
Legalisation and employment compliance
Paperwork is the longest part of the schedule, so we process it in parallel for the whole group. We work under contracts fully compliant with Macedonian labour law.
single permit for residence and work or declaration
The path is matched to nationality and role. Cases are processed in parallel for the whole crew, not candidate by candidate.
Visas and arrival
Visa applications, consular appointments, tickets and an arrival schedule aligned with the installation timetable.
residence permit documentation and extensions
We track deadlines so that continuity of legal employment is never interrupted during the contract.
Documentation ready for inspection
A complete file for every worker, notifications to the authorities and a deadline register – ready for labour inspection and Border Police checks.
Details are covered in our services residence and work legalisation and single permit for residence and work.
How a renewable energy crew project runs
01 · Project analysis
We define the type of installation, capacity, installation schedule, required skills and crew size.
02 · Competence profile
We build a role card listing tasks and equipment – that is the selection filter, not a generic job title.
03 · Sourcing and pre-selection
A campaign in two or three countries, document checks and technical interviews. Practical tests available as a paid option.
04 · Approval and legalisation
You approve the candidates and we launch permits or declarations and visas for the whole group at once.
05 · Arrival and courses
Tickets, airport pickup, accommodation, height medicals and SEP or accredited inspection body courses where required.
06 · Onboarding and care
Work under a foreman, a coordinator on site, an onboarding report and a replacement guarantee.
Asian countries we bring installers from
The country is matched to required skills, budget and timing. For difficult profiles we source in two or three countries at once.

Nepal
Strong availability of fitters and manual workers with Gulf experience, focused on long contracts.

India
PV installers and electricians with experience on large-scale solar farms.

Philippines
Technicians and fitters used to international standards, with good English communication.

Bangladesh
Candidates for installation and support roles, available also in larger crews.

Uzbekistan
Construction and installation experience from CIS markets and good availability of structure fitters.

Georgia
Shorter legalisation path and cultural proximity – an origin for topping up a crew faster.
Frequently asked questions about Asian workers for renewables
Who do you recruit for renewables and energy?
Solar PV installers, mounting-structure fitters, electricians, labourers for PV and wind farm construction, equipment operators and service or maintenance staff.
How long does it take to recruit an Asian installation crew?
From signing the contract to the first day on site it usually takes 1–3 months for Asian origins. Eastern European origins can be faster, but the pool of installers with PV experience there is smaller.
How do you verify candidates?
We run pre-selection: checks of documents, employment records and previous overseas contracts, plus a video interview about scope of works, tools and past projects. Practical tests in the country of origin are an optional paid add-on.
Do workers hold electrical qualifications?
Foreign electrical qualifications are not automatically recognised in North Macedonia. Candidates with electrical experience are enrolled in a Macedonian SEP course and exam up to 1 kV, and until then they work on tasks that do not require the licence.
Who arranges H&S training, work-at-height medicals and courses?
We do. Initial and work-at-height medicals, general and job-specific H&S training with translation and, where needed, height, MEWP and accredited inspection body courses after arrival in North Macedonia.
Can the crew travel between sites?
Yes. PV and wind farms are built outside cities, so candidates are recruited on the assumption of mobility. Accommodation and transport are arranged around the project location.
What settlement models are available?
Permanent recruitment, fixed-term staffing billed by the hour and managed crew staffing with a defined scope of works. The models can be combined within one contract.
Do you handle employment legalisation?
Yes. We handle single permits for residence and work, declarations, visa applications, residence permit documentation, registration and notifications to the authorities. Documentation is ready for labour inspection and Border Police checks.
