Asian workers for general construction
We recruit general construction crews from Asia for main contractors and building companies across North Macedonia – from foundations through reinforcement and formwork to the weathertight shell. The crew is built around your real scope of works, not a generic job title. We run pre-selection, full legalisation, flights, accommodation and onboarding under a foreman.

The structural stage runs on people, not machines
Staff shortages at the foundation, masonry and formwork stage move the entire schedule. Foreign recruitment lets you build your own crew that stays on site until the end of the contract.

What construction companies come to us with
No hands for the structural stage
Bricklayers, steel fixers and formwork carpenters are the hardest profiles to find on the Macedonian market. Foreign recruitment gives you a stable in-house resource.
Subcontractors rotate mid-stage
A crew moves to a better paid contract and the schedule slips by weeks. Your own crew removes that scenario.
Unpredictable man-hour cost
Construction rates change month to month. Direct employment lets you budget until the end of the investment.
H&S and paperwork under control
Inspections on construction sites are routine. We keep full documentation, medicals and translated safety training.
Who we recruit from Asia for general construction
We most often fill masonry, steel fixing and formwork roles plus support positions. Where qualifications are required we run a separate selection path and courses after arrival in North Macedonia.
General construction worker
Support and execution work on the structural stage: material handling, preparing the work front, assisting tradesmen.
Bricklayer
Structural and partition walls in blocks and brick, lintels, chimneys, infills and making good.
Steel fixer
Cutting, bending and tying reinforcement steel for foundations, columns, slabs and walls according to drawings.
Formwork carpenter
Assembly and striking of system formwork, slab, column and wall shuttering, plus traditional timber formwork.
Concreter and paviour
Pouring, compacting and curing concrete, floor slabs, and external paving works around the building.
Scaffolder
Erecting, adapting and dismantling frame and modular scaffolding – after training and work-at-height medicals in North Macedonia.
Three cooperation models on site
The model depends on how much HR responsibility you want to keep in-house. They can be combined – a core crew employed directly and peaks covered by fixed-term staffing.
Permanent recruitment
The worker is employed directly by you. We handle selection, legalisation, the flight and the first weeks of adaptation.
One-off recruitmentfixed-term staffing
Employment sits on our side and you settle for hours worked – a natural fit for peaks and seasonal acceleration.
Fixed-term staffingManaged crew staffing
We take over a defined scope of works together with a foreman, schedule and responsibility for the result.
Managed staffingPre-selection against the scope, not the job title
Candidates go through pre-selection: document checks and a technical interview about the scope of works and past projects. Practical and language tests are an optional paid add-on we run on request.

- Accommodation standard, transport and distance to site
Courses and qualifications after arrival in North Macedonia
Foreign construction qualifications do not map one-to-one onto Macedonian regulations. That is why the training plan is part of the project schedule, not an afterthought.
Work at height and scaffolding
Work-at-height medicals and training for scaffolds and platforms are arranged in North Macedonia before the worker enters the work front.
accredited inspection body qualifications
accredited inspection body courses and exams for mobile platforms, forklifts and portable cranes – wherever the scope of duties requires them.
SEP qualifications up to 1 kV
Foreign electrical qualifications are not automatically recognised in North Macedonia. Candidates with that background are enrolled on a Macedonian SEP course and exam.
Medicals and H&S training
Initial medicals, general and job-specific training with translation, plus an induction on the rules of the particular site.
Legalisation and employment compliance
Paperwork is the longest part of the schedule, so we run it in parallel for the whole group. We work under contracts fully compliant with Macedonian labour law.
single permit for residence and work or declaration
We match the route to citizenship and role. Cases are run in parallel for the whole crew, not candidate by candidate.
Visas and arrival
Visa applications, consular appointments, tickets and an arrival schedule aligned with your construction stages.
residence permit documentation and extensions
We track deadlines so the continuity of legal employment is never broken during the contract.
Inspection-ready documentation
A complete file per worker, notifications to the authorities and a register of deadlines – ready for labour inspection and Border Police checks.
More detail in our services residence and work legalisation and single permit for residence and work.
How a general construction crew project runs
01 · Project analysis
We define the scope, stages, required trades, pace and crew size.
02 · Competence profile
We create a role card listing tasks and equipment – that is the selection filter, not a generic job title.
03 · Sourcing and pre-selection
A campaign in two or three countries, document checks and technical interviews. Practical tests available as a paid option.
04 · Approval and legalisation
You approve the candidates, we launch permits or declarations and visas for the whole group at once.
05 · Arrival and courses
Tickets, airport pick-up, accommodation, medicals and work-at-height or accredited inspection body training where required.
06 · Onboarding and care
Work with a foreman, an on-site coordinator, an onboarding report and a replacement guarantee.
Asian countries we bring construction workers from
We match the origin to the required skills, budget and timeline. For difficult profiles we source in two or three countries at once.

Nepal
Strong availability of construction workers with Gulf experience, focused on long contracts.

India
Bricklayers, steel fixers and formwork carpenters experienced on large-scale building projects.

Bangladesh
Candidates for general construction and support roles, available in larger crews as well.

Philippines
Construction tradesmen used to international standards with good English communication.

Uzbekistan
Construction experience from CIS markets, good availability of bricklayers, concreters and labourers.

Georgia
Shorter legalisation path and cultural proximity – an origin for topping up a crew faster.
Frequently asked questions about Asian general construction workers
Who do you recruit for general construction work?
General construction workers, bricklayers, steel fixers, formwork carpenters, concreters, paviours, scaffolders and site labourers. The crew is built around the stage of works – from foundations to weathertight shell.
How long does it take to recruit an Asian construction crew?
From signing the contract to the first day on site it usually takes 1–3 months for Asian origins. Eastern European origins can be faster, but the pool of skilled tradesmen there is smaller.
How do you verify candidates?
We run pre-selection: checks of documents, employment records and previous overseas contracts, plus a video interview about scope of works, equipment and past projects. Practical tests in the country of origin are an optional paid add-on.
Do we get a crew with a foreman?
Yes. We normally work with crews of 6–20 people led by a foreman or coordinator who explains the scope, keeps the pace and liaises with the site manager.
Who arranges health and safety training and medicals?
We do. Initial medicals, general and job-specific H&S training with translation and, where needed, work-at-height, scaffolding and accredited inspection body courses after arrival in North Macedonia.
Can workers travel between sites?
Yes. Candidates are recruited on the assumption of construction-style mobility between sites. Accommodation and transport are arranged around the project location.
What settlement models are available?
Permanent recruitment, fixed-term staffing billed by the hour and managed crew staffing with a defined scope of works. The models can be combined within one contract.
Do you handle employment legalisation?
Yes. We handle single permits for residence and work, declarations, visa applications, residence permit documentation, registration and notifications to the authorities. Documentation is ready for labour inspection and Border Police checks.
